چکیده
Free cholesterol has been considered to be a critical risk factor of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). It remains unknown whether dietary intake condensed tannins (CTs) have distinguishable effects alleviate damage caused by high diet. Male C57BL/6 mice were fed diet for 6 weeks, and given CTs treatment at dosage 200 mg/(kg·bw·day) the same time. The results indicated that compared with normal diet, group resulted in significant weight loss, dysregulation lipid metabolism blood liver, oxidative stress but dramatically reversed these negative effects. HE staining frozen section observation manifested could effectively reduce deposition tissue necrosis intake. alleviated injury mainly regulating expression related genes pathway AMPK phosphorylation. Our confirmed remarkable lowering anti-liver in vivo.

Anti-hypercholesterolemic Effect of Berbamine Isolated from Rhizoma Coptidis in Hypercholesterolemic Zebrafish Induced by High-Cholesterol Diet
The anti-hypercholesterolemic effect of berbamine (BBM) isolated from Rhizoma Coptidis (RC) was investigated in hypercholesterolemic zebrafish model induced by high-cholesterol (HC) diet. Zebrafish embryo assay revealed no significant difference in morphology and cell death with the treatment of BBM less than 20 μg/mL. In zebrafish larvae, the fluorescently labeled cholesterol in caudal artery ...

متن کاملResveratrol protects against diet-induced atherosclerosis by reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and inhibiting inflammation in apolipoprotein E-deficient mice
Objective(s):Resveratrol (RES) is a polyphenol compound that has been shown a promising cardioprotective effect. However, some reports have yielded conflicting findings. Herein, we investigated the anti-atherosclerotic effects of RES in apolipoprotein E (apo E)-deficient mice on a high cholesterol diet. Materials and Methods: Firstly, atherosclerosis was induced by feeding a high cholesterol di...
متن کاملLinarin Enriched Extract Attenuates Liver Injury and Inflammation Induced by High-Fat High-Cholesterol Diet in Rats
The aim of this study was to explore the potential beneficial effects of linarin enriched Flos Chrysanthemi extract (Lin-extract) on nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) induced by high-fat high-cholesterol (HFHC) diet in rats. SD rats received normal diet, HFHC diet, or HFHC diet plus different doses of Lin-extract. The liver content of triglyceride and total cholesterol markedly increased in H...

A B S T RA C T The aortas of 11 pigs (aged 1-3 yr) with homozygous von Willebrand's disease (vWd) were compared with those of 11 normal pigs of the same ages. Six of the controls exhibited multiple arteriosclerotic plaques with intimal thickening of 63130 jum. In contrast, none of the pigs with vWd had multiple plaques, and only one had a lesion >2 mm in diameter. In a subsequent study, 3-mo-ol...
